About the Creator

Anna Stevenson (AFHEA) is a UK artist and postgraduate research student based in East Yorkshire, currently studying for a PhD in English at The University of Hull with a strong interest in the relationship between literature and art. Her thesis focuses on the influence of William Shakespeare, W.B. Yeats and T.S. Eliot on the early work of Ted Hughes. Her specific literary interests reside in Modern poetry and the Renaissance. In particular, exploring the intertext between the two periods.

I enjoy working with different surfaces and experimenting with the presentation of art and the process behind creation. My favourite medium to create art with is the Biro, hence the project being depicted through this particular style.
